This free Ableton 11 template electronica project runs at 100bpm and needs Ableton Live 11 or higher. It also needs Serum (latest version), so it is not an Ableton-devices-only session.
All samples, MIDI and FX files are included in the project. The download is instant and costs €0.
What You Get in This Free Ableton 11 Template Electronica
- Price: €0
- DAW: Ableton Live 11 or higher
- BPM: 100
- Plugin needed: Serum (latest version)
- Included: project file with all samples, MIDI and FX files
Be honest with yourself before you download. If you don't own Serum, the synth parts won't play as they were built. The samples and MIDI files still work in any session.
How Electronica Differs From Techno and House
Electronica is not techno or house. It isn't built around a club kick.
At 100bpm the track moves slowly. That leaves room for texture, melody and small details.
So listen for the space. Solo the main synth first. Then add the drums and see how little they need to do.
How to Use This Project File
Study the arrangement
Mute a layer. Solo another. Watch what each device does to the sound. One real session teaches more than a pile of tutorials.
Rebuild it as your own
Keep the structure. Write new melodies and swap the sounds. That is how a template turns into your track.
Who Should Download This Free Ableton Electronica Template

Been producing for a while and already use Serum? Every patch is ready to open and edit. It's a quick way to start a new tune.
License: Read This Before You Release
All audio files from Stereo Loops are royalty free. But a free Ableton electronica template still has one rule about melodies.
What the License Allows
What you can do
Use the template as a starting point. Take single layers and rework them. Release a track made with it commercially.
What you have to do
Change all the melodies. Your finished track must be clearly different from the original template. Releasing it as it is, is not allowed.
Common Mistakes With Free Templates
- Downloading without Serum. The synth parts need it. Check you have the latest version first.
- Releasing it untouched. It breaks the license, and it won't sound like your own work anyway.
- Changing only one melody. If the main lines still sound like the template, your track is too close to the original.
- Speeding it up to fit a club set. At 100bpm the space is the point. Stretching it to 128 loses that.
